All are welcome to join us once a month at the First Unitarian Church of Orlando in Room 9 of the Education Building. Space for this event is being provided in conjunction for the Mystic Grove Pagan Group. For upcoming dates, please visit our calendar page. This is a wonderfully enriching, educational and fun circle. Learn about different ways of celebrating the turns of the Wheel of the Year, meet new people and learn to share personal experiences, stories, laughter and joy in the spirit of the seasons!

The Picnic/Quiet Dave's Crafty Time is held every third Sunday of the month (rain or shine, but not hurricane!) at beautiful Langford Park near downtown Orlando. This wonderful park has been host to many pagan events and rituals and we love coming together once a month to spend a little time in the sunshine with new and old friends.
Some Picnic Basics:
Look for the Pavilion for the Purple balloons! Picnics start at 1pm and run until around 4pm. The Park is located at 1808 E. Central Parkway. If you park in the main parking lot, stay to the right, cross the bridge, then bear to the left - stay on the path until you see us!
The only Sunday that we do NOT have a picnic is on Father's Day! On this day we honor all the Fathers and Gods!
Everyone is welcome to attend the picnic. This includes both human children and the furry ones as well. Pets are welcome as long as they are friendly and well behaved, and as per the Lanford Park rules, all pets must remain leashed at all times. Please be conscious of the fact that not everyone is animal-friendly and some people may be allergic to your furry family member.
If you plan to eat, please bring a side dish or something else to share! Your contribution is what makes it a community event, and we each do what we can to give back to the community and to share!
If you have special dietary concerns, please bring something that you can eat. Veggies and deserts are always welcome.
If you bring it, please take it home with you! This includes food and family! While occasionally it is nice when some forgets the yummy plate of brownies they brought with them, we can't be responsible for everything left at a picnic (and as cute as your kids are they really can't go home with the hosts)
The picnic is primarily a social event for the community. This is your chance to get out and hang out with your community members. Play a little frisbee or some checkers and just relax in the sunshine. Occasionally, we hold special theme picnics (Our Annual Chili Cook-off and The Ostara egg hunt), wish circles, drum circles and meditations. Participation in these events is purely voluntary and not the primary activity or purpose of the picnic.
Again, the Picnic is open to anyone in the community regardless of their personal path.
If you have any questions, regarding the picnic or would to volunteer to help, please visit the contact page and let us know!
Thanks!
