What for Dessert?

Tradition has it, that WRCF Witches Ball attendees
bring a dessert donation to share for the event.

In addition to having an opportunity to sample tasty
delights from the community, this year folks that
bring a dessert will receive a free raffle ticket!

So break out those recipes and baking pans (or stop by
the bakery), and bring a donation for a chance to win
some really great prizes!

WRCF will host a children's Samhain Sabbat Ritual
at the Pagan Picnic on 10/21/2007

Ancestors Altar

WRCF will host an Ancestors Altar at this event. Community participation is welcome. Feel free to bring a photograph or other personal memento honoring your Ancestors for display on the Altar.

(Please remember to take your ancestors home with you after the ball as the hall will be a dark and scary place for them after everyone has gone.)

Marie Dees

Inspired by a father who built meditation pyramids in the family room and a mother who checked witchcraft books out of the local library, I couldn't resist weaving characters who follow non-traditional spiritual paths into her books. Tea and Witchery is the first in my Cassadaga Mysteries series.  I'm a Florida native and live in Orlando, where I work in communications, garden, and channel my alternative interests into mystery novels.

About Spiral Rhythm
Spiral Rhythm is a band that defies genre. We're spiritual, we're a'capella, we're percussion and rhythm. We sing, we dance, we laugh a lot, and most important, we celebrate the divine in song. If pressed, we could define ourselves as Pagan Spiritual, but don't box us in! We're based out of Atlanta, Georgia, but have been known to travel as far as Ohio for a gig. Given the right circumstances, we'll go anywhere to perform! Spiral Rhythm came into being when a small number of friends decided to split from another group; different visions, different needs, different destinations. We reformed as Spiral Rhythm and never looked back. Our music is a reflection of our spirit and our joy, and we love nothing more than to share both with our audience. We encourage audience participation, and have been known to get down off the stage and dance with the crowd. We are constantly evolving, always looking for new ways to connect with each other and our listeners. Life is a song, and we love to harmonize and drive the beat!

About Tawanda's Tribe

Tawanda’s Tribe was inspired by Melbourne’s Lunatic Fringe in 1993.  We first gathered on a rainy December Saturday and were birthed at Imbolc of 1994.  The group has ebbed and flowed through the years from numbers ranging from 3 to 13.  We began in the spirit of exploring the goddess found in nature and within ourselves, and together… we continue on a path of personal development, helping each other by sharing our experience and developing ritual to mark milestones on our collective journey.  We are thrilled to be able to reach out and touch the community of WRCF… from whence most of us came.

We believe in a shared ritual experience and lifting our spirits in song, as Ken Windwalker taught us.  We invite and expect our guests to participate in our ritual, rather than being spectators.
